O subt\u00edtulo pergunta: &#8220;O esplendor extravagante do reino animal n\u00e3o pode ser explicado s\u00f3 por sele\u00e7\u00e3o &#8211; ent\u00e3o como foi?\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Asas de borboleta<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00d3tima pergunta.\u00a0Mas espere um segundo &#8211; n\u00e3o fomos todos informados de que a sele\u00e7\u00e3o natural de Darwin\u00a0<em>j\u00e1<\/em>\u00a0demonstrou explicar praticamente tudo?\u00a0Esque\u00e7a lindas flores ou cachorrinhos fofos.\u00a0Livros acad\u00eamicos inteiros foram escritos alegando que a teoria de Darwin explica a mente, a lei, a literatura, a m\u00fasica e muito mais.\u00a0No entanto, se a teoria pode explicar t\u00f3picos muito mais complicados que envolvem at\u00e9 mesmo o pensamento abstrato, por que tem problemas com t\u00f3picos mais simples?\u00a0Se \u00e9 respons\u00e1vel, por exemplo, pela <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?q=Magna+Carta\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Magna Carta<\/em><\/a> (primeiro estatuto ingl\u00eas), por que sofre duramente com as cores das asas das borboletas?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">O autor escreve que alguns cientistas acham que n\u00e3o \u00e9 a sele\u00e7\u00e3o natural que explica a beleza.\u00a0Pelo contr\u00e1rio, \u00e9 a sele\u00e7\u00e3o sexual que faz a m\u00e1gica.\u00a0Mas h\u00e1 uma mosca nesse perfume.\u00a0A exist\u00eancia do sexo em si \u00e9 um quebra-cabe\u00e7a\u00a0 para os darwinistas por 160 anos!\u00a0Ainda \u00e9 um mist\u00e9rio.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">O\u00a0<em>que<\/em>\u00a0a teoria\u00a0<em>pode<\/em>\u00a0explicar?\u00a0Se n\u00e3o consegue explicar os padr\u00f5es de cores, em quanto ela foi exagerada?\u00a0Um pouco, isso acontece.\u00a0Para ver o problema com mais clareza, vamos primeiro pensar em estudos sobre nutri\u00e7\u00e3o humana.\u00a0Durante d\u00e9cadas, o p\u00fablico foi orientado a evitar alimentos com muito colesterol.\u00a0Recentemente, no entanto, um painel do governo mudou de ideia, dizendo que n\u00e3o h\u00e1 provas que sejam prejudiciais.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Aqui est\u00e1 o problema para grandes reivindica\u00e7\u00f5es sobre a evolu\u00e7\u00e3o.\u00a0A ci\u00eancia n\u00e3o pode nem dizer se o colesterol \u00e9 prejudicial para os humanos modernos, que podem ser estudados em grande detalhe.\u00a0No entanto, se isso \u00e9 muito dif\u00edcil, como a ci\u00eancia pode afirmar o que afetou plantas e animais no passado distante?\u00a0Aqueles que n\u00e3o podem ser estudados em tempo real como as pessoas?
