The information cannot in our view be generated by what are often called 'natural processes' <a href=\"#ref1\" name=\"back1\">[1]<\/a> (...) There is no way in which we can expect to avoid the need for information, no way in which we can simply get by with a bigger and better organic soup <a href=\"#ref2\" name=\"back2\">[2]<\/a> (...) This is tantamount to arguing that carbonaceous life was invented by a non-carbonaceous intelligence, which by no means need be God, however <a href=\"#ref4\" name=\"back4\">[4]<\/a>.\n<\/pre>\n<p>No portugu\u00eas:<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;Desde o in\u00edcio deste livro n\u00f3s temos enfatizado a quantidade enorme de informa\u00e7\u00e3o at\u00e9 mesmo dos sistemas biol\u00f3gicos mais simples. Essa informa\u00e7\u00e3o n\u00e3o pode, na nossa vis\u00e3o, ser gerada por aquilo que muitas vezes se chama de &#8216;processos naturais&#8217; (&#8230;) N\u00e3o h\u00e1 maneira pela qual n\u00f3s conseguir\u00edamos evitar a necessidade da informa\u00e7\u00e3o, n\u00e3o h\u00e1 como n\u00f3s simplesmente sairmos dessa com uma sopa org\u00e2nica maior e melhor (&#8230;) A posi\u00e7\u00e3o correta que n\u00f3s imaginamos \u00e9 (&#8230;) uma intelig\u00eancia que projetou os componentes bioqu\u00edmicos e deu origem \u00e0 vida carb\u00f4nica.
